Zenen Valdes immigrated to the USA as a young boy from his native country of Cuba in the mid 1960’s. With support from his family years later he worked diligently to establish a successful sod and nursery business. Always valuing the freedoms and ethics of his new country, Mr. Valdes wanted to build a venue that would use a portion of its income to support many disadvantaged children and other worthwhile organizations. From the photo above it’s not hard to follow his childhood dream. Besides what young boy wouldn’t want to be Casey Jones. No wonder why we ended up with a train theme!

When Erika Cuffy is not planning your flawless event, she is a full-time social worker for the public-school system. Erika is dedicated to making her venue clients (and students) dreams come true. Erika graduated with a Master of Social Work degree from Florida State University and has been working with individuals ever since. With her expertise in the social work field, Erika has gained the knowledge and understanding of how to assist in any way possible. With being involved in planning her personal wedding, Erika experienced first-hand the stress that comes along with wedding planning. Her number one priority is to completely eliminate this stress for any bride and groom that walks onto Creekside Events of Florida property.
